  1. Stock Badlands rear bumper end caps

Howdy all. A few months ago I decided to get to close to a rock, and tore off the end cap on my stock rear bumper. I went to Ford to get a new one before I decided ~$50 plus bucks was a bit step for something I most likely rip off again. So has anybody found a replacement for just the end...
  2. Does Ceramic Window Tint really Work?

Yes it does. I am in eastern TN, and go to FL a few times a year. It really helps keep the inside cooler. The AC cools better and stays cooler. Parking in the hot sun it keeps it from baking on the inside.
  3. What You Learn After Signing... mud flaps and power running board recommendations?

Don't take the flares off. I have the Mabbit mud flaps. I take them off when I go off roading. You can see the brace for the front flap in the wheel well. I have a BL SAS package, and the flaps fit fine with my flairs. They work great when the flairs and mud flaps are installed. It is...
  4. Armadillo Designs Aluminum Hardtop

The gutter reference was the first thing I could think of. I use a lot of home made jigs while wood working. Currently I am making cabinets and have a few to make sure each drawer is in the spot in each cabinet. Have a good one
  5. Armadillo Designs Aluminum Hardtop

It is a mold or model that is made to do a specific job over and over again. Think of a gutter on your house. If you had to form it by hand every time it would take forever. So they have a jig in the form of the gutter and run the material through it to make it the same every time.
  6. Buckle Up Fender Delete kit

Not daft, but I am looking at getting a set for when I go offroading (rockcrawling). It allows you to take off the fender flairs, and have a clean look. I will run them to and from the places I go, then take them off for daily driving to put the flairs back on.
  7. CB Antenna mount

Yup. When I do road trips I still hear some truckers on there. I normally listen when the road is all backed up. The trucks drivers will let ya know what is going on. Waze and Google maps etc will say it is a 1/2 hour back up. The drivers say what is the cause and which lane is blocked etc...
  8. CB Antenna mount

No not in normal driving, when I was 4 wheeling I think it might have hit it, but it was a bit loose. After I tightened it on the NMO mount it didn't hit again.
  9. OEM/Bestop canvas bikini top AKA the popcorn popper

They work great at that. They have a flap that goes up under the windshield weather stripping. When you need to put the top back on, you fold it back a bit to get to the handles to lock it on. They are a sponsor on this forum. Jtops
  10. OEM/Bestop canvas bikini top AKA the popcorn popper

I have a Jtops and it is good up over 80MPH no flapping. It stays on when installing the hard top or soft top. I don't think adding more buggie cords will help.
  11. CB Antenna mount

I Bought this mount off E-bay, a 3 foot Firestick, NMO cable to PL259 and an NMO to 3/8 24 Adaptor. Mount Adaptor Cable Firestick
  12. Front window tint and Line-Xed the pinch welds

I like that look. I might have to get this done. What stripe is that on the lower door? Is it vinyl or paint?
  13. Water, mud, rock, debris, fling solution?

I have a 2 door BL SAS and it does the same thing. I bought a set of mud flaps off Amazon. They take a bit to install the first time. But after that, it takes a few minutes to take off if you want to go 4 wheeling. Mud Flaps. I like to keep mine as clean as I can, basically I use it on the...
  14. Safari top solution?

I would hope a good upholstery shop could do it. I was looking at dropping down right behind the front seats of the 2 door with a clear piece in the middle that would allow me to see out the back.
  15. Safari top solution?

Howdy. Your best bet is go to a sail maker and have them make you one. I have not seen any solution to this. I am wanting something like this also. I run the Jtops as well on a two door. I have been wanting to do this, but I just don't have the cash flow right now to make it happen.
  16. Lights causing radio interference

LED lights are noisy. If they are made correct they have filters to take away the noise, if not they emit the noise and interfere with the radio, CB, GMRS, or key fobs. What you might be able to do is get a few of these Chock put them on the power lines to the LED's. Wrap the power wires...

I am not saying I believe them I am just sharing what they stated. I have a Ford cab cover and it does the same thing. After a few tries with different thing to stop this from happing, I ended up with a boat cover center support to raise the top enough to keep the water from puddling. This...

  19. Stubby antenna recommendations?

I had one on my F150 a few years ago. I am in-between Knoxville and Nashville TN. Closer to Knoxville. Most of the stations we get here are a long way aways. When I went to the shorter antenna I lost the three stations I listened to. When I traveled between TN and MO I wouldn't get the...
  20. BroncoBikini

I have a Jtops. I wouldn't run with out it with the top and doors off. If this is the same person from the NW Idaho or Oregon he was advertising them as rain covers not sun shades.
