2-2 1/2 years ago, the wait on an ordered Bronco was 6 months to 2+ years, the chances of buying one off the lot for MSRP was very slim, lots of Broncos sold for $5-10K market-up to those who couldn't wait. Now after MSRP has jumped $8-12k in 2 years, and the value trims being discontinued...
Worth mentioning, at intro the Base with a front and rear locker was $20k(?) less than a Wrangler with both lockers. The Wrangler made you jump to the Rubicon, while Sas was a $5800 option on the Base (depending on configuration).
If you have a $500 tow option on your sticker, your dealer should have installed it, for nothing (since you've paid for it). If it's not on there, you at least have a harness to the rear of the vehicle that wasn't standard until MY24. If you don't plan on towing anything but want a receiver...
For MY24 they are pre-wiring some of the harness from the front to the rear, and it becomes a plug and play dealer install, instead of a factory install.
If you are someone who follows instructions, Don't remove the rear bumper to install the hitch, it's completely unnecessary, it a 5-minute installation job.
