Yes I have had warrantee work done under the Bronco - including the recalled front drive shaft and boot, and the dealer had no issues or comments about it (Acton Ford). They were familiar with Alpha Cars and agreed that Alpha does excellent work.
It still looks like it was put on yesterday. No sign of deterioration. As mentioned earlier, I believe the process is just as important as the product.
Seems like ceramic coating is a very short-lived benefit if you live anywhere where it gets cold in the winter. I will save the ceramic coating for a car that isn't meant for 4-season use.
Looks almost new! Hard to believe that car is nearly an entire year old! kidding, sort of. I was sorta interested in this but when I learned that you are reduced to handwashing only, I lost all interest. Handwashing doesn't work in cold winters and I'm not gonna let a full winter's worth of salt...
Well I guess it depends on how good the seal is. Chipped paint doesn't mean that the water has a pathways to travel under paint. So I'm not sure how different this is. Alpha Cars said they recommend bringing it back ever couple years to see if anything needs to be touched up. But even if I...
Yeah that's the stuff - I hope that doesn't happen to mine. I'm a little surprised given these guys really seem like experts and said it was the best product. They did say that they recommend having it re-examined every few years to see if any touch up is needed. It's been used for many years...
I think if I owned a lift, I would try to do it myself. But the more I watched the video the more I was glad I outsourced it. I probably would have sprayed areas that shouldn't be sprayed (like a heat shield and then realized how stupid that was)
They also removed the bash plates and wheel wells. They said the didn't need to remove the bumpers but were still able to get all of the inside of the frame.
