As you describe. Got into it with my fob, hit the button and the screen lit up. Was running when I jumped in.

Doubt this was a case of a mapped fob. Bronco was in the middle of our very rural 80 acre property with nobody within 3/4 of a mile.

I bought this one new. Been the sole owner/operator since 11/11/2021. That is wild that you still have access to the vehicle you sold. Certainly seems to be a security issue there.

Updated on Friday. Was parked close enough to the Wi-Fi here but have never connected it to that system. 🤷‍♂️

I did get multiple notifications of an update that happened on Friday. Never had the entire car start up, on its own, to complete an update though. After it came on today, I grabbed the key and jumped in to see if there was anything on the screen about an update…nothing.

Other key is 75 miles away at the house with nobody home. Have cameras at the house to confirm nobody was messing around there.
