    If they were brass prongs or contacts I don't believe the door would engage them properly, I imagine the door being lifted and angled up as it is removed. I think they will use a plastic plug on a cord with some sort of dust cover when it's off the vehicle.

    My 80 series Land Cruiser has a curb weight of 4760, so a 2 door Badlands should weigh as much or more than it. To me this is good news, it should mean that the Bronco is over built, especially when you consider the higher aluminum content compared to the 80 series. For reference the 80 series...

  8. I still remember Ford took no 2008 bailout and I will finally reward them...

    Well, it was free money from the share holders because if you owned the stock when GM went bankrupt you lost everything, I lost about 10K total. Meanwhile my Ford shares still have value today. I will never buy another GM product again.

    Ford and Ram dominate the heavy duty pickup market with their SFA trucks, while GMC and Chevy are considered weak with their IFS.

    Yeah, I wouldn't want to see Boeing go bankrupt, take a bail out and hang the shareholders out to dry. This happened to me on General Motors, I will never buy another GM product again.

    I'm a tightwad, I don't want to pay for any tire over 33". Plus if I get a two door 33" will be plenty big.

    Exactly. I have faith in Boeing and I may buy back in. But they do have their share of problems right now.
