Sean's not an engineer, he's a salesman at a dealership. I think we should just stick to the reservation/ sales aspects specific to Serramonte for the moment.
Sean my question echos Matt Boston's. I received this from your GM, so this is now changed?
You pay the destination charge regardless of the dealer. Only once.
The shipping from Granger to here makes the $1300 discount a wash. So you're left with paying invoice. So yeah if you can guarantee x plan here it's probably worth buying local, if not Granger might be a better option
I think I remember seeing that and someone read the fine print which mentioned it was for only vehicles currently on the lot, which wouldn't be applicable to an ordered vehicle like the bronco
Haha, so basically keep your reservation with them until December when it's past the time limit by which you can change your reservation? Then you're stuck with whatever they're charging.
Nice strategy
Hopefully people didn't already jump the gun and switch dealers. From reading the forums I feel like a lot were super impatient to lock in a new dealer for some reason.
I'm with you guys on a group buy, anywhere in ca really, if we can get a Granger type deal.
The point of this thread is to get the best deal locally. You stating "I doubt any Cali dealers will match it" defeats that purpose especially when there is a dealer posting in the thread. How is asking for parity a bad thing? Do you not want the best deal? Go give the dealers as much ADM as...

You should go on this thread then. Tell the dealer he's fabricating everything just to get reservations, and tell everyone who switched reservations they've been lied to.
Hey guy. Not really interested in your stories of calling Rio ford and other dealerships, or your buddy who backed out of 2 deals. I can tell in your head you're positive you know everything about how the car buying process works, but it's not reality.
Stop answering questions that aren't...
Right. Granger has great pricing but if we can get for xplan locally then it's not worth the shipping cost, hassle or wait time to buy that far away. I'd be fine buying pretty much anywhere in CA. It'll be great weather then and can make a nice, possibly topless road trip out of it
I'd be sure to get that in writing from Matt at serramonte. This is what he originally sent me
"Congrats on getting the order in on time to reserve the First Edition – we’ve had a lot of calls this morning from customers asking how they can reserve one now that they show sold out. Ford has not...
