I'm a 19.
As I understood it there's really only two priority codes. 10-19 are essentially the same (specifically to the Bronco) and 99 is basically a delayed order.
It could play out differently of course.
Don't forget that without you the dealer doesn't have a Bronco.
If they don't sell it to you it's a total loss. It's not like they can turn around and sell it to the next guy. Any profit they make, no matter the deal, is more than they make if you walk away from the Bronco.
Mine has told me that there are no allocation percentages like there are in the US. But then other dealers say there are allocations. I'm still not sure what the case is.
I've decided I'm not going to go ahead unless I know, with relative certainty, that I'll be getting a Bronco before winter...
I got the same answer when I pressed my dealer. He was "pretty confident" too. He sent me a document from August that showed that X-Plan was still available for Bronco but I think that was before it was officially off the table in the US anyway.
I asked what would happen if I ordered today with...
Just remind them about the plate at delivery. When my 4Runner came in and they were doing the PDI I reminded them about the front plate and no dealer stickers. I made sure to inspect the vehicle myself for these things before I went in to sign the papers.
Not trolling. Just spreading hopeful information and trying to see if others have the same information.
Edit:
I asked him the other day to send me an out-the-door price. We had discussed X-Plan in the past until it was announced that X-Plan wasn't available. Other than that he was going to be...
Un-prompted my dealer sent me an email the other day, after saying X-Plan is not available, that it will be. @Rollerstud98 posted an email from his dealer that says X-Plan is available in Canada but not in the US. I'm still a bit wary....that's why I'm trying to confirm if others have heard the...
So my dealer and @Rollerstud98's dealer have confirmed that X-Plan is a go in Canada. Has anyone else had success using it?
I've yet to order but I've received a quote with X-Plan applied. Mustang Club is usable.
I wouldn't bank on "more" selection. Only different selection.
It's pretty simple.... If there's nothing you're interested in for 2021 take the gamble on what you want being available for 2022. If you're happy with what 2021 offers then go for that.
Depending what you order, and when you...
My dealer just sent me an interesting email.
Last week he said he "hadn't heard" if X-Plan was available but would look into it. I just humored him and said sure. Today he emailed me again with an X-Plan quote saying he has verified X-Plan is available.
I feel he is mistaken. But....the...
You sort of hinted at it in an earlier thread that maybe our orders are likely to be quicker to fill.
Since our reservations have actually closed, do you imagine that is because Ford closed them when they reached the number of vehicles they could likely fulfill in Canada for 2021? Roughly of...
Can you confirm that there are allocation numbers? If so, are they about the same as the US? As in roughly 30%.
My dealer is saying that allocations have nothing to do with it. Also that ordering is open. I just want to be armed with some solid information in my next email.
Has anyone heard if our allocations will follow the US model?
If you get any info from your dealer on their reservation numbers and allocation numbers please share.
May help those of us with dealers that aren't sure what's happening.
My dealer says they just recieved order guides but says order banks aren't open yet. :cautious::unsure:
Also responded to my allocation questions only saying that the timestamps matter.
Ugh.
I know it's frustrating. I know we all want to have our Broncos yesterday. But don't forget that we have two months to sort things out. I know I forget this sometimes too.
It's unfortunate we can't switch dealers so we just need to work with what we have.
Your dealer can for sure be better...
