My ride's name is T'Mater. After I ordered the Bronco, I looked around for other things that were close to my color so I could describe it to family and friends. Closest I could was a Roma Tomato to describe Hot Pepper Red. The Roma tomatoes are and orange/red, not a deep red or "red-red". I suppose hot peppers make sense, but the Roma tomatoes were more abundant and front and center at every Walmart I went to. Even got personalized plates that say T'Mater.

I did not name my Bronco. I never name my cars…except once when I had a black ‘96 Lincoln Town Car that I blacked out like a Mercury Marauder inspired by the movie car below. That‘s where my username comes from.

I call mine "Whitey" (no, not the James Bulger kind). I wanted to call it RED (retired, extremely dangerous), but the wife pointed out that the thing is actually white.

2022 Black Diamond - Eruption Green. Pretty like an Emerald, a precious green gemstone. So I named my Bronco Esmeralda, a kind and beautiful woman. Fittingly, I built an overlanding trailer which I named Quasimodo. Not handsome but works for Esmeralda. (ala Hunchback of Notre Dame).

I named my 2022 Badlands "Jenny"! She's named after my old C-130 squadron, the 815th AS "Flying Jennies" based in Biloxi, MS. Like a Jenny or C-130 she is reliable and handles rugged terrain with ease.

When I settled on the Velocity Blue on my 25 Base I knew I was going to name it Zev. It’s a character from the Dungeon Crawler Carl book series. Strictly for the colour. My gf thinks I’m nuts lol
