Are these heavy duty and more rubberized than plastic? Do they clip into the floor pins in front and actually stay?

I run with my doors off most of the summer and have a brand of mats that start with a W. They are light and plastic feeling, won’t stay locked in the pins and start flapping around even at speeds of 40 mph.

Looking for something to solve this.

Yes - they do clip into the hold down points in the front (see the picture). Another plus is that the rear seat mat is a single piece, so it MAY stay in place better than the 2 piece stock Ford mats. They are a nice rubberized mat and offer fuller coverage as well. I've had the doors off and never noticed any flapping, but admittedly was not at highway speeds.

Totally get why you’re not into mats that feel plasticky. 😉 However ours aren’t that.

3W uses a proprietary Thorex™ material—a smart blend that pairs rigid support (for load-bearing, edge stability) with rubber-like flexibility (so it won’t curl or warp). It isn’t rubber, though—so you don’t get the common issues like deformation or scuffing over time.

That balance of strength + resilience is what keeps the mats shaped, stable, and tidy after long use. Don't hesitate to give them a try—I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.😁

I took advantage of the 35% discount. I have been looking for a set of mats for my Badlands and anything of decent quality don't fit the Badlands with rubber washout liner.

When I saw the 3W fit the Badlands I took a closer look. The only thing I did not like was they do not sell just the front mats. I removed the rear seats and have a platform there. I can't use the 2nd row mat.

With the 35% discount they ended up being about the same price as other decent mats with only the front set, so I ordered them.

I may be able to cut up the 2nd row mat to fit under the platform. Otherwise, anyone interested in a 3W 2nd row mat.
