2 door retractable soft top + soft surfboard racks for a longboard

Anyone have a 2-door with the retractable twill soft-top and using soft racks for your board?

I don't see many great options for carrying boards with that roof on a 2-door -- most of the posts I've seen about surf racks are on 4-door broncos.

So figured I'd go with a basic soft rack. Wondering if it'll be shaky hauling a couple boards, including a 9'4" longboard since the rack would just go through the 2 doors.

Are you against going with a hitch mounted vertical rack?

I hadn't really considered it, except with a log, a good 4 feet are gonna be sticking up from the back, wouldn't that be like attaching a sail to the back of the truck?
