Hello,

Purchased a new Wildtrak late last year. I've been dreaming up some ideas on how I would like to shape into a rig I can be proud of. Purchased an ARB Summit Bumper and that was a bit of a fiasco with shipping damage and such. But its properly recoated now and ready to be put together. I did purchase a few things from Turn Offroad, unfortunately they don't ship into Canada, so I had them ship to Montana and made a quick run from Calgary to pick them up. Overall pretty happy with the quality from Turn Offroad. Have been out offroading in the Calgary area with a local FB group. I am enjoying this vehicle very much. I appreciate all the posts on upgrades being done to give me ideas and guidance on what to do in the future.

It's an alright scoot for running around town. My son uses it when we go on rides together. My main bike is a 2022 Triumph Tiger GT Explorer. I prefer the Triumph. I do plenty of out of province rides.

Yes I trekked out to the falls for the first time. Pretty impressive country.

I am not running the Goodyear tires as winter tires. I put on a set of Hakkapeliitta LT3 Studded tires for the winter.

Finally have the ARB Summit Bumper installed, lights and Warn EVO 10-S winch wired up. Wasn't a simple install but I think it looks good now. For the signal lights in the bumper, ARB installation manual talked about cutting and splicing wires on the factory harness to the headlights. I opted for an easier and cleaner option of a T- Harness from Starkey Products in Florida.

Looks cool. Got any details on the mounting equipment? Would that hold up in Baja terrain? Do you have a separate power bank to power it when the vehicle is off?

Nothing close to Baja terrain in AB accessible by 4X4, even on dirt bikes it's either technical single track mountainous, with some whopped out quad tracks, or forestry roads and chopped up city streets with alley to street transitions resembling 2' whoops at best.

I used all Bulletpoint mounting points, arms and holders. They even have a mount for the Starlink mini. For power I used a PoE DC Power Conversion Kit from Mobile Must Have. I only run the Starlink off vehicle power and have not thought about extra power for when the vehicle is off.

I attached a thin strip of hook & loop to the Trio Flat Mount and stuck the mini to the sound deading mat on the roof. Then used a telescopic Bullerpoint arm to help hold it in place. It seems pretty solid in there over the rough roads here. I do not know how well it may hold up in BAJA conditions.
