Have you measured the tire size? I had BFG 285/75r17 on my last jeep. According to google they shouldve been 33.8" but were barely 33" maybe .2". I Debated keeping them but I wanted white letter so I went to a 295/70r17 on the Bronco and theyre almost identical in diameter with just a bit more girth. Im running 9" wide wheels with -6 offset and they just barely rubbed the crash bars before I took them out.

This just about nails the look I'll be going for... one day when mine arrives.

Looks sweet. That Eruption Green always catches my eye!!!

2.3L manual or auto? 2.7L?

What do you think of the 4.46 gearing now, with the 285/75's?

I feel my 35's (34.5" actual) are a bit too tall for the manual 2.3/4.46. By contrast, the factory 30's made the gearing feel too short ... in my opinion.
It made for lurchy 1/2 shifts.

My thought is that tires around a true 33" would be about perfect, but I'm really curious about the 33.9".

Thanks for taking the time to share the pics!
What conclusion did you come to on tire size? I’m looking for something that compliments the gearing of the MT for daily use and is capable off-road.
