My Bronco Badlands was delivered on 17 January. I accepted the vehicle and an issue with the cameras was noticed. Because the service department was already closed, I took it home and brought it back the next day (18th) for them to take a look it the issue. When attempting to use any of the cameras the screen is blank and it says it cannot connect to them. By the evening of the 18th the dealer said that the rear camera was the issue that is causing all of them not to work. They emergency ordered a rear camera and it was supposed to be in the next day. Two days later the camera came in on the 20th. The rear camera did not solve the issue so they proceeded to dig into the wiring and said they found the issue and emergency ordered some new wiring. the wiring came in about the 24th. Because the tech working on the vehicle was now sick it did not get looked at until the 27th. When he tried the new wiring it was determined that the wiring Ford sent to dealer was missing a piece. Supposedly they found pins in a connector that are bent and they are sure that this is now the issue. Missing wiring was emergency ordered on the 27th and in theory should be in on the 28th. The wiring did not come in on the 28th and I called today and they are saying that Fedex cannot find the shipment. Finger crossed that they will eventually get the needed parts.
@Ford Motor Company If the dealer is right that the issue is with bent pins in the connector, how could this have not been noticed when driving the vehicle over 60 miles prior to delivery. I am sure reverse would have been used at some point during those 60 miles.
