Method Race Wheels 305 Gloss Bahia Blue w/Black Lip Installed + Tailgate Bumper Solution [Bronco Raptor]

Finally got my Method Race Wheels 305 in Bahia Blue installed. They look great (I think. Add almost 1.5 inches in “poke” due to offset. And they also needed a 1 & 1/8 inch extension to tailgate bumpers on back of vehicle to contact tire. Came up with a good looking solution I prefer over a racquetball. A simple plastic part from Home Depot, painted black, fits inside the rubber bumper perfectly (doesn’t fall out if the tire is removed - but can be removed with a bit of wiggling/twisting). You can see the part on receipt. Note, this works unmodified for the zero-offset Method wheel going onto the raptor tailgate - about 1 and 1/8 inch needed to fill space. Pictures showing the 1 and 1/2 inch extra “poke” of factory rubber. One image shows a metal level being held flush against flares so you can get a more precise view of wheel “poke”.

Two of these:

They are definitely a great looking wheel design, in any color. The beadlock look is totally convincing also. Someone actually thought I was incorrect at a car event and said, no they are headlock ready. For those of you without these, Method gave the outter ring an undercut. So, even though the rim is a single piece, you can put your finger up under what looks, and feels, like a removable trim ring. Your bumper solution looks more fun my plastic piece .

The Method 305 is a zero offset. So moves the (factory) tire out 1.5 inches more in “poke”. (The Ford factory rim has an Offset of 34mm). There are no clearance issues for the Method 305 on the BRaptor in turn or vertical travel.

Agree, I would get them in red to match/close to my race red color for my WT when I get it.
