Lucky for you I don't have much going on today. This took less than 10 minutes to strip down. Large plastic House does not contain any sensors. Just the servo motors for the shutters. So this can definitely be discarded on packages from high on down without reason for concern.

Good stuff...but the box looks the same on a Lux package...does it defintialy contain radar in the Lux, or is it somewhere else or camera based from the rear view mirror?

On my raptor, unplugging the shutters throws a warning on the Ford pass app. Also on the Raptor, the motor on shutters can pop right out. So plug in the motor and zip tie it away and the warning will go away.

No no. There are 2 shutters. One for the radiator and one for the intercooler. I believer every truck comes with the IC shutters BUT the bad lands is missing the Radiator shutters. I hope this makes sense.

Crazy. Ford kept telling us that the Badlands trim didn't have active shutters, but there they are.

no .. the shutters actually are designed to funnel air right into the IC. When you remove them .. air will leak around the edges.

Definitely deleting the grille shutters and its servo then, wanna get as much air into the Intercooler as possible

There is a rubber boot around the plastic shutter housing to keep air from leaking out. But if you ditch the entire housing you lose the boot and would have to make your own. Kinda dumb that Ford blocked a quarter of the intercooler with the acc module housing.

There is 1 reason why one would remove the shutters which is to make room for a thicker inter-cooler.

My 2019 Raptor, I replaced the IC and front bumper. I removed the shutters and had to relocate the ACC into the front grill above the "R" and "D"

And it will surely be much better than the factory intercooler.

I could easily be wrong, but it looks like the Badlands radiator also has shutters in the photos.
