What device are you using? I tried the Mongoose first and that thing was a POS. I had to switch to the OBD Link EX.
FWIW, I had success with the Mongoose JLR adapter from my Land Rover. I took a chance and gave it a try with FORScan, and it recognizes the adapter automatically! Maybe because Ford owned Land Rover a while back, they are using the same networks?

I could not get my new OBDLink MX+ to work with my laptop over Bluetooth — not the MX+’s fault though. This laptop is an old dog, and the Bluetooth isn’t working at all.

I wish I hadn’t spent the money on the MX+, since I had a working cable all along. The FORScan Lite (paid) iOS app doesn’t do much, although I might do some speed runs for the hell of it.

I’m in Cameron, just North of Fort Bragg. Just got my ODB adapter last week. It’s on the list of mods. Kinda nervous.

It was a huge pain in the a$$ to get the wrench light to go away after trying to change my tire size.
