Anyone remove the rear bumper end caps?

Trading non-SAS flares and end caps with someone for their SAS flares and end caps. Haven't crawled under to see how the rear bumper caps are attached. Has anyone removed these yet?

There are 3 little tabbed wedges (white on my vehicle, purple/pink in the diagram below) that are a mild PITA to remove from below to remove the end caps.

There is also a larger wedge (red arrow shown below) that I believe is part of the top cover that goes through the end cap. You can either remove the entire bumper to carefully disassemble the end cap from the bumper OR after freeing the bottom two tabs from the bumper, lift the end cap up by about a half inch and pull firmly towards the tire. The latter method will rip off the larger wedge without damaging the bumper cover or the vertical tab that locates the cap on the bumper.
