I mounted a 270* awning to my Trailrax rack. I like it but it's making it almost impossible to remove the driver side roof panel. I have the awning mounted as high as I can without modifying the hardware and I can just barely drag it through. It takes 15 min of fiddling with it to get everything lined up just right to remove or reinstall the panel, and I'm going to cause wear/scratches.
How would you rectify this?
I could slot the mounts a little more to go a little higher. Or make an extension bracket for the mounts. Or maybe lower profile bolts for where it is hanging up.
What do you all think would be the least stupid idea?
