My wife has the B&O system in her 2021. I want to upgrade the speakers but I know less than nothing about car audio. My plan is to upgrade the speakers first then later add another amp (or replace the factory one) and add a better sub. I want to be sure that whatever I change now is compatible with later changes. The salesperson at Crutchfield suggested I do component speakers for the kicks and use the tweeters to replace the corner dash speakers. I'd also like to upgrade the roll bar speakers to 6.5 with an aftermarket pod.

My initial questions for the experts are:

1. Has anyone used tweeters for the corners? Are you happy with that change? Does that require any reprogramming/Forscan?
2. Similarly does changing the roll bar to 6.5 require reprogramming/Forscan?

Thanks in advance everybody.

Thanks for the help. Which Polk speakers did you use?

Mti acoustics makes a plate for dash to change from 4” speaker to a tweeter. Do a search on here as well. I’ve read a few times people saying you do need to make some changes w forscan of the rear pods if you change to a 6-6.5” speaker bc that pod is set for a high pass filter. So you won’t get the full range of sound from it. https://www.mtiacoustics.net/ford.html#!/2021-Bronco-Tweeter-Plates/p/451785661/category=127527301
