Badging Question

Now that I’ve got some mods started, including my vinyl wrap and waiting on my powder coated black beauty rings, I’m starting to wonder what to do with my “Badlands” badging.

I don’t want the “Bronco” script, but have three ideas:

1. Leave it alone - Little bit of yellow contrast will look good with the interior trim accents
2. De-badge it fully - Nice and clean look
3. Get the Badlands badging re-made as matte black decals and re-install in the same location - Goes with my white & black exterior theme

Not looking for any other ideas; just looking for your thoughts on these ideas.

Are you re-creating the fridge magnet or simply doing a black decal? I was thinking the decal would look better (match the rest of my wrap), but curious your thoughts.

I’m not exactly sure what you mean. To clarify, I’m going to take the original badge and remove the orange. The cactus grey will show through instead.

Wonder how this would look if you replace Ranger with trim level? Bronco and then a smaller font Badlands etc. underneath?

I was wondering if you were going to create a black sticker (like a vinyl wrap), with essentially any of the yellow parts would be cut out so the body colour would show. Or if you were going to create a new “fridge magnet” where it would be a little more 3D but be in black with body colour where the yellow currently is.

Sounds like you’re kind of doing a mix of both which sounds cool.

I see. It’ll just be a new vinyl sticker. I have a Cricut, it’s easy to just upload the image, remove the orange and cut it. I’ll lose some of the detail but I’m fine with that.

Rough draft here: I’ll clean it up a little more before cutting.
