NonIs this SAS or non-SAS? Thanks
Which engine and options? All make a difference
4DR badlands non sas. I swapped them for different suspension on a buddies bronco. I’ll have to ask him what motor it has. When ordering the ford performance struts they only ask if it’s 4DR or 2DR, nothing else makes a difference.Which engine and options? All make a difference

I never understand how a shock could be tuned so carefully that it's sensitive to the engine difference (maybe 100-200lbs?), and yet doesn't take account of # of passengers typically in the car, Safari bars, roof racks, doors on/off, top on/off ...4DR badlands non sas. You say that, yet there are specific part number for each setup….Based on engine, types of bumpers, etc…When you talk weight and balance, on aircraft if makes a huge difference, so why not for spring rates in cars also.I never understand how a shock could be tuned so carefully that it's sensitive to the engine difference (maybe 100-200lbs?), and yet doesn't take account of # of passengers typically in the car, Safari bars, roof racks, doors on/off, top on/off ...
Just doesn't make sense. I don't buy the fact that Ford has these tuned down to the # of cylinders. And if they do, it's irrelevant in light of the other loading issues i mentioned.
I think all that could possibly matter is # of doors, unless you are talking about a specialized kit like Old Man Emu that has light/medium/heavy for an all-in consideration like I provided above, where YOU the buyer are determining what overall loading makes sense for your usage.
Right -- OME is taking an all-in approach that acknowledges overall loading, and you the user are picking the spring rates based ontheir questionnaire / profile. The whole reason OME is asking those questions is that they're doing "all things considered" approach and giving the springs based on that. You say that, yet there are specific part number for each setup….Based on engine, types of bumpers, etc…When you talk weight and balance, on aircraft if makes a huge difference, so why not for spring rates in cars also.
BTW, OME suggests specific weighted springs for specific models, ie: engine, bumpers based on trim levels, etc…I went to a local ARB Rep, who called into ARB to tell me which specific kit I would need for a Black Diamond with my specific engine and transmission. I was told to get the Medium Setup for 4 door
Did you figure out the options?Dropped to $500
