I found some lights I would like to use only not sure if they will fit.
Has anyone installed LED lights on a base bumper?
The standard bumper has lights.
How much space is cutout and behind location?

We're not confident about the space behind the bumper. However, you shouldn't have any issue recessing a flush mount LED pod from the feedback across the forum.

If you're looking for a ROAD-LEGAL option to run, check out the SS3 Flush Mount LED pods.

The image attaches displays our flush mount on the rear of a vehicle with our flood optic.

You're able to select the SAE-compliant fog optic on the link provided below.

Plus, our SS3 LED pods now include an amber back-light feature!

It's important to note compared to other options on the market. They're designed using TIR optics compared to generic reflector optics.

Additionally, if you aren't interested in a 3" flush mount LED pod. We do offer our SSC2 or SSC1 LED pods in a flush mount option as well with an SAE-compliant fog beam pattern.

John, any suggestions for aiming them if they are used for fogs? Is there a backing shim solution available to angle the flush mounts downward if that is necessary on the base bumper? (I'm seeing Nobody I've seen has yet come up with something I'd be willing to cut my covers for. 3" flush mount has been done and looks good, but I want to use them on road and ensure the alignment is acceptable.

This is a great point that you've noted!

Unfortunately, our flush-mount SS3 LED pods don't have an option for adjusting the aim. It'll all be dependent on the angle and height of your bumper. The beam pattern is a complaint but the aim is everything for safe on-road use.

Sorry for the misleading recommendation. We've sent you a direct message with more information!
