It's hard to explain to people, especially those who haven't had a new vehicle in the last 10 years why this is a problem now when it wasn't back then. Technology, isn't it great:rolleyes:

Boy, you ain't kiddin Flip. I work in battery shop part time. I have been busy enough where, I have been explaining it to one customer while the next customer was standing there. Then I turn to the next customer, "How, can I help you??" He starts to explain what was happening and I reply "Did you hear what I was explaining to the last customer?? Same thing applies to you." That way I can move on to the next customer, who really does need a battery, without having an hour long conversation trying to explain why they are building them like they are.

I'm having similar issues but connected a battery tender. Can you check my VIN, as I have not received any updates in a long while (maybe the battery)? I do see a pending update occasionally, but the next morning there is nothing showing it was updated. My vin:

Thanks.
Thanks for checking. I have a charger that I put on every couple of weeks or so if we dont drive. 43 years working in Chevrolet dealers as parts manager and body shop manager, I have seen some strange stuff. Not much surprises me anymore. One of the reasons I put off getting a new vehicle for so long.
