I would love to have an all black wheel and I think these bead rings are easy to remove and paint. I don't really want to pay for these from the dealer or I don't want them to be power coated since that cost about the same as new ones already black. I am seriously thinking of painting these myself. Has anyone done this and if so, would you do it again or would you pay for them to be power coated or purchase the black ones from Ford? Let me know your thoughts.

Powder coated mine charcoal grey, $150 here in Ohio, good luck getting that price in CA 🤣 You can paint them, but it won't be very durable. You could also leave them off, and paint the flange on the wheel black, they don't look bad without the trim rings, I ran mine that way for a few days while my rings were getting coated.
