Black Rhino Chamber and Nitto Recon Grappler

I called Discount Tire today to place an order on some Black Rhino Chambers 17x8.5 with 0 offset and 295/70/17 Nitto Recon Grapplers. The guy told me they would rub and would "poke out too much."

We got the build date for my wife's outer banks and want to have these ready for when it arrives. Anyone running this setup without issue? Will be going on a Non-SAS 4DR.

I I have Badlands SAS and 17x8.5, 0 offset polks about an inch past SAS fenders. I can see it being too much poke for outerbanks, depending on what you like.

I appreciate the response. I'm guessing the -18mm offset would stick out even further.

I guess we will have to look at other wheels.

Congratulations on the build date @Cory0518! We appreciate you thinking of us for the tire/wheel combo.

The combo you purposed will work, you would just need modifications to the crush bars.

As far as the poke goes, the 17x8.5 ET0 offset will place the front lip of the wheel approximately 2-3/4 inches outside of the fenders, not including the tires.
