Blacked out (powdercoated & wrapped) my Bronco Raptor front end - skid plate & tow hooks

Dont get your feelings hurt, you know what he means. Blacked out looks better than the out of place silver. I'm sure many feel this way. To each their own.

My feelings def are hurt.

in serious though, just stated it isnt chome lol.

And I think on certain colors, the silver looks good.

Gray, black, green and white, black def looks best.

I think on the code orange, the silver looks good.

Personally, I like that wih the silver / raw finish, when its scratched it wont really show.

let me explain,
As kids ages
ago you could buy “chrome” in a spray can. It came out looking that dull silver and got the Knick name Hillbilly chrome in our neighborhood

it is in no way chrome.

This looks sick. But what happens when you bash the bash plate? Touch up with paint?

Let it go for awhile and then re powder later on. I plan on putting a different front bumper on it in the next few months anyways.

The reason it’s silver is because the skid plate is aluminum and when you scratch it you can’t see the scratches. Also the silver plastic cover can be removed by hand with the pull pins so when you scratch the Front of the bumper you can put the silver plastic cover on and cover those scratches as well. It’s a smart design that a lot of people don’t know about

Cool. Not sure I understand the cover part. Take it off preemptively before wheeling and then put cover back on to cover up scratches?

Despite to good logic on the skid plate. I'll almost for sure black mine out. Just looks so much better.
