Body color keypad?

I ordered my Bronco with the keypad and should be getting delivery within a couple of weeks. I saw another truck driving around with a body color keypad. Is this just for certain trims or is this something new? I thought they were all black…

Don't know the exact timeline (MY22?) they switched to body color, but they are all that way now.

I just got my bronco yesterday and was surprised it was in the body color. I was expecting it to be the same as MIC.

Yea just talked to someone who has a 21. Theirs was not body color

The body color keypad was first seen on 22 MY broncos. For 21, they were all black, regardless of Bronco color.

2022 and above get the body color keypads. Looks much better than the black, which frankly didn't look good at all.

The colored part probably comes off like my black one if you want to repaint or wrap it.
