Installed today. Came well packaged to even survive military USPS shipping.
Just installed so have not used it out on the trails but seems really solid. Shaking it after install I did hear one metal-2-metal sound but pulled the top of the upper Molle panel out and it solved that (was hitting just a bit on the left 'wing''.
Installation: Simple but a 2nd hand would make it easier
- would have preferred larger bolts/nuts on the upper mounting points. They seem to be OK and maybe just me but they are tiny.
- Instructions do not mention the foam paint protection. YouTube people talked about 2... I got 3. 2 were twisted in the packaging but still good so put all 3 all.
- the 4 top and 2 bottom T-bolts came semi pre-assembled. But then needed to take them all apart to put the 2nd washers on - seems strange to only semi-assemble but not a major issue.
- As it is brand new do no stop lifting the top shelf to open the 'wings'... I did while holding it on the bolts still not mounted thinking it was as far as it would go but then had to force the 1st 'wing' out. So I scraped the paint a bit there where they rubbed. The top shelf should swing way up and enough to move the 'wings' left and right.
Received several extra washers and 2 extra clasps... not sure if standard or normal.
