Bronco Build Week 1/8/2024

Looks like you removed your trim badge. Are you planning to add the Bronco script or you going to leave it off? I've gone back and forth on whether to replace mine.

I ordered a custom version of the pricey Archetype Racing fender badges with the black script back in Oct ....AR sent an update 2 weeks ago that my order would hopefully ship in 2-3 weeks.....

I've come to really like the clean look....so we'll see.

Finally picked up my Bronco last night even though it arrived at the dealer on January 18. Long story, but I’m glad to finally have it home!

I debated hard on getting duo to swap summer/winter. When texas hits 120° this summer we'll see if only having a hard top will lead to any regrets haha.

Definitely enjoying the manual thus far. Easy to get a feel for. Really enjoy the combination of the 2.3 and the manual - gives the truck more personality. I like using the crawler gear on our steep driveway on snow/ice going downhill. First manual I've owned with the auto shutoff - easy to turn it off with the A button, but I don't mind it when I am # 3 or 4 in line at a stoplight and take it out if gear while waiting. It it is not quite as silky smooth as a Honda, but smoother than my recent VW manuals

Everything you said here is also my experience. I wouldn't trade the manual for anything! Only thing I'd change is the location of the emergency brake.

I love my manual as well. Although my kids don't quite understand it lol

It's funny how kids react....and you can never be sure what they take on board....

I taught my daughter to drive manual 10+ years ago......amazingly she never stalled once, but in the early sessions we went 0-20 mph in like 35 seconds. Despite her clutch control prowess, no interest in continuing to drive manual.

Son stalled repeatedly during our teaching sessions, tons of F-bombs, "why would anyone want one of these".....and then bought a used manual Jetta when he graduated from college

Since getting Bronco have you done anything?
I have added rough county 3” round drl lights, M&R light bar with white and DRL, grab handles, added wireless phone charger and IAG side steps. I have the full mats, soft top assist and some other small thing to be installed.

IAG trunk assist (They also sent me new upgraded stuts), tint, bronco script emblems, shade mesh, some other internal quality of life add ons.

Been loving my Bronco... Finally got it out after dark for a light painting session. Minor mods with PPF wrap, window tint, graphics package, rock rail/running boards. Big Bend, 2.3L, Manual.
