I'm thinking of doing some changes to my 4 door Big Bend 3.2L manual. Specifically, I'm considering adding Sasquatch wheels and 35" tires. I've seen several sets for sale on eBay. Along with that I think I would do a one inch lift and add the bigger Sasquatch fender flares.

I've never toyed with a car before, so my first question is does what I'm doing make sense? Are there other things I should be doing in conjunction with the this? And finally, does anyone know a good customization shop in Connecticut or the NYC area? I'm in the Stamford area, but willing to travel for a good shop.

Thank you.

Badlands wheels (285/70R17) would be a direct bolt on without a need for lift spacers or different flares, that is probably the route I would go. You could also add the 285/70R17 tires on your stock wheels. If you’re set on Sasquatch then you’ll need to unbolt the crash bars and do the spacers.

If you can turn a wrench the spacers are easy to install. I don’t know if an alignment is required post install. I know Offroad Alliance in MA can do the install for you if needed, most decent tire shops or the dealership should be able to as well.

Thank you. I'll ask my dealer and the local tire guy I use about it.

There's a speed/truck shop in Bay Shore, NY (about an hour from the Ferry or 1 hour - 1 1/2 hour depending on traffic from Bridgeport) that works on our trucks. They installed a lift/tires/wheels for us recently on our demo truck. They've also put a supercharger in an old demo truck we had, with a 6" lift, as well as a FMIC on our Gen2 Raptor demo truck.

Big Power Racing if you want to check them out.

They are exactly what I was looking for. Thank you, Adam. I'll talk with them or drive over and visit them next week.

I was also thinking about putting the Ford LEDs into my Big Bend. I ordered mine with the base lighting. I didn't realize they would not have the signature look. Is that something you would do at 4X4 TruckLEDs?

If you take the drive over, stop by and check out our Bronco (just give me a day notice so I know to bring the Bronco to the shop instead of the Raptor). We're in Lindenhurst, which is only 10-15 minutes away. Open M-F, 10am-3pm.

When you talk to BigPower Racing, you want to avoid going on a Friday, as some of the guys tend to take a 3 day weekend and head upstate. Ask for Chris, he's the owner. You can tell him Adam Daley sent ya, he knows me very well

Hi Adam,

I purchased some OEM LED's for my Bronco and reached out to 4x4 Truck LED's to see if they would switch them out for me. If they will, I'll drive out to KLindenhurst as soon as they can see me.

Thanks again.

Juggernaut performance AKA Bowen’s Garage in Eastford CT. John Bowen is the one to talk to. Think he might be on the forums. If not can get you his email.

Sorry we don't offer that type of service at our facility
