Glad he's doing ok, and glad you're back on the water! Hopefully you'll be doing car shows together again soonI'm finally going out tomorrow to Lake Tarpon for some LM Bass. Been almost 2 months since I've been out. My Pop's chemo/radiation treatments are over and recovering in his home. So I'm going to hopefully pull a few into the boat.
Pictures was from last time out with my son Anthony.
Thanks, but no more car shows. When my pop's received the cancer diagnosis, he immediately made arrangements to sell the car and was sold. He didn't want my mother stuck trying to sell a car like that.Glad he's doing ok, and glad you're back on the water! Hopefully you'll be doing car shows together again soon
It's a long process to get back to any semblance of normal, and he'll likely never physically be near where he was before, but he's still here and that's what matters. I've been through similar with my dad. Thanks, but no more car shows. When my pop's received the cancer diagnosis, he immediately made arrangements to sell the car and was sold. Nevertheless he is not in any condition to go through the shows. He lost 20+ lbs, his neck is like raw hamburger due to daily radiation treatments. Weakness from chemotherapy and continued sickness. Not to mention he can not speak either. He still will feed through a tube for months to come until the inside of his mouth and throat heel. I still have to flush his mid line daily as he has a few weeks of infusions of steroids and hydration to boost his immune system.
But life is good, he is still fighting and living.
This looks like the perfect day for fishing! Thanks for sharing this photo, Bryan!‘22 OBX and ‘24 Bass Tracker XL
How’s your Dad doing?Took my boy out this morning to Lake Tarpon.
Got a few on the boat, first pic looks as if it suffered a prop injury
Anthony caught this 2 pounder
Hey bud, he is sleeping a lot. Still eating from a tube. Not able to drink or swallow any substance yet. Doctor says it could be 6-12 month till back to normal. How’s your Dad doing?
