Has anyone made a comprehensive list of upper trim features that can be added to the base trim? I know about the upfitter switches, bumpers, and Sasquatch suspension but I'm curious about other things like spotlight mirrors, heated steering wheel, etc.

I should add that I have a 2025 so that may effect compatibility

It will be much more expensive to to add ford options after the fact…that is why the aftermarket exists…

IME after market is mostly junk unless 2-3X the price of Ford and closer to 5X for true qusility, with hit or miss warranty (mostly miss) on stuff you can buy on alibaba for 15% of the price.

Also know aside from dampers and springs, and electical, it also packs on serious weight (#1 enemy) VS ford advanced high strength steels, other alloys, and advanced composites thst aftermarket simply cant process into finished product.

Consequently, unless paying $700+ per wheel, $1500 per coilover, 1000+ for lighting, and $5K for audio most of it will be a diasapointment afterbthe initial euphoria and especially a year later or more when need ro buy it again.

However, if just after optics, just go crazy on alibaba and same 80%

I wonder if the OP was referring to situations where manufacturers have run wires but not connected features. I. E. Wires for seat warmers, or wireless charger, etc etc.

I know some have claimed other cars in the past had manual seats but a disconnected button could be found under the seat giving it automatic functions. Not sure if that applies to the Bronco or maybe not base. Perhaps a Big Bend that didn’t get mid package?

Just saying adding $200 aux switch option after purchase is $2000 and $300 roof rack is over $600…the list goes on…if ya really want a ford option, order it on the vechile…it is false economy adding it latter…
oh and ford has many problems with their stuff too…recalls, steering racks and tierods, sway bar disconnect, seed sensor faults, and the list goes on…

This is most of what I was referring to. I am wanting to add upfitter switches, fog lights, SAS suspension, and factory wheels to replace my steelies. I know some things can be turned on in forscan. But things like ambient lighting require harnesses and more to retrofit. I just haven't seen a list anywhere of what people have successfully added.

I added a Wildtrak leather steering wheel, it has the heating element but I haven't seen anyone able to activate it without a separate switch. It'll likely need a new clockspring for it to work.

well you go then…I have a lot of your kind of ā€œupgradesā€ on my Bronco (see signature) many not available from ford and I am happy with most of them…I notice you also have non ford ā€œupgradesā€ too…my personal opinion is a lot of the ford (or any manufacturer) ā€œupgradesā€œ are overpriced, lower quality and/or underperforming…I try to buy directly from quality aftermarket manufacturers but I do have some ford stuff…party on!

You have an exhaustive aftermarket list. Would be fun to get parts weights from MFG and compare to OE to see what the net weight impact is....
