So this morning I was installing some new infinity Kappa speakers in my bronco and everything was going great intill I accidentally shorted out the front left channel. I had the sound on and was just testing stock speakers to the new one and ended up touching the positive and negative together. Now the front left channel has nothing coming from it. I already went into the fade setting and it is all centered so that's not the problem. Does anyone know if there is some kind of fuse protection? Hopefully I didn't burn anything out inside the head unit.

Remove the negative terminal from your battery for 30 minutes and let it set. It is very possible you shorted out the head unit, always remove the negative terminal when working on electronic components.

Thank you mobronco. I did remove the negative after and let it site for only about 10 minutes. That didn't do anything. But for some reason as I was putting all my trim pieces back together it started to work on its own. So I guess it just needed some time to relax. All is good now.
