When I recently had to remove my Ford Accessory Tailgate Molle Panel to install my Wolfbox, I noticed the velcro on the side panels had lost their stickiness. On one of the Tri State Bronco off-road events I noticed that @Bschurr had used some reinforcing screws at the top to support the astonishing amount of gear he had on his panel. Anyone here that knows me by now had to assume that if I went down a similar path it was going to take it up a notch. So instead of screwing through the top rail of the molle panel, I used my hollow boring bits to make a hole for grommets and then installed blacked out grommets. Matched that up to the tailgate and then carefully (so as not to punch through to the door side skin) drilled out some holes and installed 10-24 sized rivnuts. I then reinstalled the molle panel using a combo of the existing plastic hooks, velcro and now very supportive black stainless flat cap hex bolts w/washers. I also relocated the "paper towel bag to the back of the passenger seat molle since it's likely to be used there more and I needed room for some trail tools.
