Hello Everyone, I would like to add some color to my 22' 4 door OBX and I like the look of the powder coated tow hooks. However I can't decide what color to go with on the Eruption green. I'm leaning toward yellow, but wanted to see if anyone had pics of their tow hooks that have been modified. Thanks for the help!

I would think gold would be cool since their is a gold undertone to the eruption green. I may do that in the near future. Probably a flat gold

I’m trying to figure this out as well. Initially thinking orange or yellow but like the idea of flat gold or maybe a bronze color.

Don't have my EG badlands yet (shipping right now) but this is what I was hoping to see too. If it looks to weird ill probably just go with black

I was thinking gold as well, but I think I want them to stand out more. I do like the yellow on Copperhorse73's rig.

So, I made a decision to go with yellow powder coat on the tow hooks, however when I was starting to remove them last night I realized the front two support the intercooler....long story short, I will remove the hooks once my powder coater is ready, and not drive the vehicle until I get them back. Does anyone else have a solution to drive the vehicle with the tow hooks removed? I have also ordered another tow hook for the rear, so there will be 4 total hooks as there are on the Wildtrak.

FINALLY!!!! I got the tow hooks completed! I went with yellow and am very pleased so far. I'm also very happy I added the additional hook on the rear. Hope these pics help if any of your decide to powder coat your hooks.

About to paint my rear tow hook this weekend. I noticed under the driver side tow hook 2 steel bolts holding in the hook and a middle black plastic cap/screw in between the 2 bolts. That black screw/cap was slightly popped out and can be pushed in flush as well. Anyone know the purpose of that cap/screw, wonder if it's to be popped out slightly for draining, or if it's simply in there for cosmetics to fill the middle hole.

I would do a bronze or antique bronze color, but that is the accent color that I am going to use on other items (e.g., trim, wheels, etc). I think it is going to look quite good.

Like a few other folks in the thread, my Bronco is shipping now so no pictures to post.
