For Sale - Factory Soft Top (Brand new in box)

Hi Everyone,

Just got my new bronco delivered this week. I bought my bronco off a lot in another state, so it came with a hard top and a factor soft top. I don't plan on using the soft top, so if anyone in the area wants a brand new soft top direct from the factory still in the box please call me at (305)793-5252. Picture of the box below in the back of the new Bronco! I think these things are $2600 and change new. Happy to part with it at $1600.

Are you certain the dealer gave you the entire soft top?

It's hard to believe that an entire hard top fits into one box. You'll note that the box says 1 of 2, shipping label also indicates 1 of 2. If you use the tracking number on FedEx it also shows two boxes in the shipment, second box is 780185385587.

Here is a picture of a soft top shipped as part of a dual-top order, hard to understand why Ford would choose such an large shipping pallet if the entire top and frame structure will fit into one box?

Damn, that’s a good point. I wasn’t going to open the box for the purpose of keeping it brand new, but now that you mention that maybe I should? If you’re interested I definitely will, btw.

my 2 door factory soft top came in 2 boxes. 2 big boxes.

Just wrote the dealership this morning to figure out what’s going on before I break open the box. I’ll keep the thread updated.

I will watch this thread. I am interested in updating my 21 Top with a 23. I am also in the 305 Area.

Heads up for the thread. According to the dealership parts person, the factory has in the past put the entire soft top into one box. Despite the box being marked 1 of 2, they’ve asked me to open it to confirm it’s not all in there. If for some reason it is not, they have promised to deliver whatever is missing. I'll open the box up tomorrow and fill everyone in.

I opened the box and I believe I have all the parts. Phots are attached below. I have the soft top itself, three window panes, and some strange cardboard cutouts that look as though they are concealing a joint cover or something. I sent the photos to the dealership parts department to confirm. Update when I have final confirmation.

Interesting, that looks to be the BesTop Soft-top. Not the OEM soft-top. Guess the dealer will let you know.

Looks like it is a Besttop which would not have all of the frame like a factory top. Probably better than the factory for looks but does not fold all the way down like the factory top does.

Found it, and it does appear it's not complete Trek Top

I've learned that what dealers know comprises about 7% of what they say or claim to know.
