Ford Motor loses $3.1 billion due to chip shortage and Rivian

I think people have over estimated Rivian and now slinging mud because they haven't scaled up yet. They still are ahead of where Tesla was at their early stages. The other big investor is Amazon, I don't think they are going to run short of funding anytime soon.
