Ford supply chain mess... again

This has been on a constraint list for at least two years. What exactly will it take for the supply chain "experts" at Ford to figure out how to procure a piece of metal, a few wires, and a few chips. The semiconductor shortage has been over for at least a year and is now a semiconductor glut, with all foundries dropping prices and slowing down capex spend.

In all fairness they just moved it to a dealership installed option. Why I don’t know but my guess this along with a few other items is just one less thing to slow down production.

Factory tow was not a constraint for my 2023 WT.

MIC, Lux and SAS were the only constraints.
