Forscan ?

Ok. Know there are some Ford techs and service people in the page. If I want the forecan update done for my speakers when I update them to the kicker pods. Can the dealership do the forscan thing for me. Obviously a charge involved. I don’t like messing with computers. Save the it’s easy and do it yourself. I still May it like options and prefer someone who knows what their doing handle computer crap. Thanks.

Forscan is a 3rd party app and not approved by Ford. You might have a dealer tech that can make the changes but I haven’t found one that knows anything about it. You are better off finding someone from this forum that lives close to you.
I did it and found it super easy. Made several changes. No problems. I’d help you out but I’m sitting in the middle of the pacific and not even remotely close to where you live. Sorry

Ford won't be using forescan.

It ultimately depends on the dealership. Some dealers have extensive aftermarket departments that are willing to do non-standard modifications. But a lot (probably most) dealers are unwilling to do anything that could impact warranty.
