Technically the first road trip will be on the way home from Granger (3-4 hours). The first real road trip will be to the Smokey Mountains next August. We will stand out in a sea of Jeeps!

Simple day trip to Ocala National Forest for me. I want to put it through all the paces my 88 4 runner could and couldn’t go. Kind of a bench mark comparison.

My First adventure in my Bronco will be a trip with my wife and I to MOAB, Utah. I want to see the scenery and do some hiking. Also plan on attending the Bronco Off Roadeo when it becomes available.

The wife and I love going to Colorado. My first time was on our honeymoon and then we went again last year for our 4 year anniversary. Since reserving the bronco, we have plans to try and make it up there at least once a year with the bronco and renting a small camper while we are down there. We have only stayed in air bnb’s and hotels, so it will truly be an awesome experience to be closer to the elements and go places a general rental car cannot.

The first road trip in our Bronco will start the day after we pick up our Bronco at Granger Ford in Iowa. Our plans are to head west to Cheyenne using as much of the back roads as possible. Then north to the Deadwood/Rapid City for a few days. Then back eastward on the old Lincoln Hwy to Sioux Falls, SD. From Sioux Falls we will head south on Hwy 29 to pick up Hwy 80 heading back east again on the old roads though the little towns back to Des Moines. From there it's back to good old North Carolina. There's no better way to rid my Bronco of those pesky break in miles.
