@Hooke Road® - can you confirm (or deny) that your roof rack works with all versions of the 2025 painted hard top? I know there are other manufacturers whose mounting system does not work with some variations of the painted top due to Ford's use of several vendors and different depths of that slot that is used.

I just put this rack on my 2025 Bronco Raptor with a painted roof. Works great! No problems.

I have a 2025 Badlands SAS with the black painted roof that comes with the black appearance package, and it has .5" deep rear slots when all others are 1.1" deep. I'm SOL when it comes a roof rack unless I bolt it through the roof......

I am in the same boat with my gray painted hard top.....I too have the 0.5" depth rear slots. So, I wasn't sure how large the lower tabs were on the @Hooke Road® rack. When looking at a YouTube video, they almost looked small enough to fit....but trying to find a way to confirm.

Our other option is the Gobi....but it not nearly as versatile. Or....buy a new top....

Trailrax is very active on the site and on another thread they basically said if they redesign their attach points to fit the .5" deep slots from the 1.1" deep slots they would have to significantly lower the load rating for the rack and that's not good IMO. That's why I said I'm either SOL or maybe bolt through..... neither are good options..... Thanks Ford.

Is this the case with all 2025 black painted roofs? Are they all .5 deep?

From what I have been told, it may vary by the provider Ford sourced it through...I do not know for certain. Unfortunately, I did not even know to measure mine until my TrailRax had arrived and I was prepping to install.

How do you measure?

How do you measure?
On the top slots, in the rear of the hard top (where the roof rack would clamp), slide in a simple ruler. (If you do not have a ruler, use a piece of cardboard, and mark the edge - then measure that.). If your depth is over 1" then the TrailRax can be mounted properly. If just over 0.5" then it is not compatible.
