How do I view my recent order online?

Hi guys, I'm new here so if this question has been asked multiple times I'm sorry. I recently placed a $500 deposit order on February 19th 2022 through my dealership for a Wildtrak in the future. I was curious, I made an account on Ford.com and used the email for my account that I gave to dealership...but I cannot see my order. Do I need to wait for it to get picked and receive a VIN to get it on the Ford site?

I placed my order within a week after this, was told I didn't need to put down a deposit. I get the emails also but my order doesn't show up in FordPass either... Also new here, so sorry I can't help but know you aren't alone!

It's my understanding it won't show up until after a VIN is assinged; unless your order was a converted reservation, in which case it would be showing up already.

Hey Depwraith, thanks for responding. Yea seems like a few of us didn't know that. Hopefully it's something that automatically updates once I hear about a build date, I was just curious and I know I probably won't hear anything for about a year since I'm far down the list. I originally had a reservation but had to cancel it in August, thankfully I was able to get back in before they closed it off in March

If you walked in and placed an order, your order will NOT appear online.

Only reservation orders appear online.

I’ve asked the same question, because I placed an order without a reservation. Only reservation holders who converted to orders will have theirs automatically show up under their Ford account.

In my case, I have to wait until I get a vin. At that point, I have to go into my Ford account and add the vin myself. Even after getting a vin, it will not be added automatically.

Once you're scheduled and get a VIN, you can see your order here:

https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking

Until you're scheduled, you have no way to view/track online.

The vehicle order section in your Ford account will not populate with your order. You can add your VIN to your Ford account, but it will not provide any status there, it'll just show up as if it's "your" vehicle.

Ok thank you guys for all the info on this that stinks that I can't see the process or when it's shipped. Guess I'll have to rely on my dealership to keep me updated...guess I'll have to annoy them every few months similar to a younger kid in the back seat of the car "Are We There Yet"
