Spoke to the OG dealer and they claim it transferred. @DealerInsider never mentioned getting it or sending him more $. Waiting to hear from him. Anyone got anything official from Ford stating the process. I do remember the person on the phone I spoke with saying I would need to repay deposit. OG dealer also stated they were never notified that I had transferred, but I got an official email from Ford with my new res details.That’s exactly who I transferred to as well. If your credit card wasn’t automatically refunded the $100 you the original dealer...you need to talk to them to get that $100 back. They have it. After you get your $100 back contact your new dealer (@DealerInsider) and they can take your credit card info over the phone to pay them the $100 deposit.
At no point will the $100 deposit automatically go from your original dealer to your new dealer even though you’ve already moved your reservation.
**I had 2 reservations that I moved. The first res was automatically refunded. For some reason the second one was not and I had an 8 week battle trying to get my $100 deposit back.
Was fun telling OG dealer why I moved as they were unwilling to offer any discount.
