Hello EV1 and Happy Easter!!! Just installed the
Ford Hood Protector Aeroskin II Trail Armor Textured Black Bronco 2021-2023
I really dig it. It is a textured finish like the base grill, perfect match. Perfect fit about a 30 minute install with prep. The reason I got the deflector about 2 weeks ago super windy day a shingle flew off my hood and windshield. Thought this may help.

Looks good. Got any side pics of the kbd fender flares.

I have some paint protection film for the leading edge of my hood that I have not installed. I thought I had read somewhere here that someone installed the hood protector on top of the PPF, but while that might help protect the hood paint from dirt getting between the adhesive tape and the painted hood, I have some concern about the adhesive tape maybe pulling up the PPF.

Thoughts?

Not really sure, definitely would look into it. That would be a concern.

I ended going with the high-gloss IAG to match up with my WT OE grill- it looks great, almost as if the grill continues up the hood. Combined with the WT grill contours it gives it a pretty aggressive look. I initially resisted thinking it might detract from the hood contour or green awesomeness, but such concerns were unfounded. Would do it again 10/10.

I just looked at the IAG version and see they offer a gloss white. I wonder how that would look on my Oxford White Bronco. My grill is not black, it's a grayish colour, the white would match up with the hood and lettering....whish I could see that one on a white Bronco.

did / has anyone installed it without applying the prep package? i’m afraid that the prep pad chemicals will mess with the paint.

Also and MPG fall after the install?

Be careful with the prep pack, maybe mask area so you don't go passed the protector. Didn't notice any mpg change, just some wind noise.
