Issues with installing grille after installing grille lights

Hello,

i had purchased these lights

i installed them and it was pretty tough, considering ive never done anything like this before. I finally was able to get it but i cant get the grille to clip in on both sides on top of the headlight and now there is this gap on both sides. Do you guys know how to fix this? It took me hours and lots of frustration. Pics below. This isnt normal is it?

Possibly but its the best i could do. I tried really hard. Not sure exactly how they should sit on the grille because the instructions were shit but i followed them to a T

I dont see anything wrong or anything, i wouldnt be able to even tell where its bulging so i could adjust it. I rigged it up exactly like they did in the instructions

it has been fixed, just had to bend the metal retainer clips a bit and then the grille clipped right in

I have the same problem not understanding how to bend the metal clips, I have the same gap after installing different head lights.
