I am removing my OEM capable bumper and replacing it with a JCR Vanguard bumper And winch. I have the old bumper removed and in the process of moving the wire harness and parking sensors. I am using the Ford Performance Warn winch kit because it was the most cost-effective option. I realize I do not need the winch mount, but I’m hoping to use the frame rail reinforcements that came with the FP kit.

I have watched a couple videos where people installed these reinforcements and it looks like they are basically inner and outer L brackets tucked behind the nut plates. Should this be compatible with mounting the Vanguard bumper? Just wondering if anyone has already gone through this….
Thanks!

Just in case anyone else is reading this down the road, thought I’d answer my own question now that I have it installed. 😓

There is a CAC bracket (as labeled in the instructions) that is not compatible as it aligns with the clevis brackets on the OEM bumper.
But the inner and outer frame rail brackets can be used on both sides, along with the nut plates from the kit (slightly deeper nuts). Attaching that page of the directions with drawings.
Enjoy!
