Keyless Entry System Card - SecuriCode ?

The Secure Code on my fuse panel is different from the code on the card. The former doesn't do crap, for my Bronco; while the latter actually works.

Boy am I confused now.
Bought my Badlands without the keypad, bought a keypad only to find it needs to be programmed at a dealer. Anything else I need to know?

I'm in the same boat. It's just useless in my glovebox right now. I was hoping I was able to program it myself. Did you ever get yours programmed yet?
