Just another long-time lurker that finally joined after purchasing a Bronco.
I’m an older guy that has been around the block a few times and have owned a variety of off-road vehicles in the past, including a ‘91 Bronco that was a rusty beater but an absolute go-anywhere beast.

My new Bronco is not a daily driver, just an extra, ‘fun’ vehicle for adventures both on and off pavement.

When I first started looking at new Broncos last year, the various trim levels and packages, Sas vs. non-sas, etc. was a bit overwhelming. These forums have been invaluable in sorting through it all, so a big Thank You! to everyone for that. I hope to be able to give back with both my new found knowledge/passion for the 6G along with decades of general automotive experience.

A few vendors I’ve already sent💰💰(I’m sure the list will grow more soon). Excellent products and service from all, no complaints whatsoever!

After picking up my Bronco and driving it for a couple weeks (~300 miles), I opted to take it on a 2300 mile roadtrip that had been planned long before the purchase. While there wouldn’t be any dirt roads involved, it was a great way to get familiar with the Bronco and it truly is a pleasure to drive. The smiles per miles more than offset the mpg I gave up by not taking my more fuel efficient vehicle.

And really, the mpg wasn’t as bad as I initially thought it might be. For the entire trip I averaged a respectable 19.8, with some segments going as high as 22.2.

Here she is in all her bug-splattered glory.
Sadly, this is as close as we got to off road for the trip.

welcome! I gotta say (and I didn't think I would) seeing more of the MY25 instrument clusters is starting to give me and my MY22 a little envy.

Very nice. Best trim and best amount of doors.
Thanks! I was disappointed with the lack of MY25 V6 2-door options and struggled on which was more important to me. Very happy with the decision.

Thank you! I only test drove a couple of MY24 so never got used to the previous cluster. This one does feel more modern, though.

Awesome and congrats! Smiles per miles says it all!
Thank you! It's such a blast to drive, even if just running errands. 😁

She's a beaut, congrats!
Thanks! Love the 2-door Heritage editions, kind of sad I missed the window on those.

Great looking Bronc!

you have me leaning even a little farther toward getting some steps on my rocksliders.

Great looking Bronc!
Thanks! Yours too!

you have me leaning even a little farther toward getting some steps on my rocksliders.
Steps (and paracord grab handles, both from IAG) were mandatory in order for my wife to get in & out. At 6 ft., I can do without them but I do like how the step up allows me to drop into the seat rather than slide across. I also wanted to retain the stock sliders. The steps don’t really compromise any ground clearance and are easily removed if going places where they might interfere. As an added benefit, they also provide some protection against door dings in tight parking spaces.
