Like the title says…had my second oil change (6400 miles) and dealer calls asking for my lug nut key. They looked where I said it was and it wasnt there, later they found one they had and were able to rotate all 5 wheels/tires.

Vehicle is a 2021, 2 door basquatch. It’s and extra vehI LE so it doesn’t get driven much (6400 miles in 2 years) but really need a new lug nut key!

Google searches using every possible search word don’t really bring any good search results.

Hoping someone who had a similar issue or a wheel/tire expert may know?

thanks for any help!

Unless you ordered a second lug key, you are out of luck. Or if you have the form to order a second key. I would buy another set and have them remove the one with the lost key.

Looks like it's a set of McGard locks. Even if you buy the same set they're made to be slightly different so the key wouldn't work.

You probably need to either do it the old school way by hammering on a sacrificial socket to it, or by using some other locking lug removal tool

Mine came with a card to register and or send in if key is lost. I always get my key out and have it waiting in center cup holder AND that's where I expect it to be when I get my Bronco back, that way no one can say we couldn't find it or never found it and it's lost. I dig it out from the jack's storage area and I return it.

It's always there when I go back.

Bring it to a dealership that has the master set, get the key number and then order a new one from mcgard

I may be able to get you the key number tomorrow just by visually looking at our master set.

I used a nut cracker once on a McGard lug nut on my Ranger. Ended up damaging the lug bolt and had to replace that.

Take it to a thief and pay 'em to remove 'em. Probably be surprised how easy they come off. $75'll probably be enough, it's only a minute or two of their time. 👀 😁

They were the Ford Locking set that came with the Bronco for Free(along with mudflaps that don’t fit Sasquatch). Didnt realize this Could turn in to a hassle, just thought I could order a replacement. I gotta look and see if I stashed the lug nut package somewhere?

Search YouTube for videos demonstrating lock nut removal. Some of them are surprisingly easy. Don't know about the bronco ones, but the Macguards stick out ridiculously far above the rim surface, would not be surprised if they are removable with a large enough vise-grip.

Dealer lost mine, and I presume they replaced it with a master they used.

Might be easier and cheaper to use an extractor. It grabs the outside of the lock and spins it off. This will damage the wheel lock.

I think I have a set I can sell you. I wanted a Raptor and got it. When they sent me my wheel lock, it was for a non-Raptor model.
