Imagine spending 5k on this and finding out that it rattles and clicks as much as the oem top when it's closed.

I don't see how it won't, but I'm interested in hearing some honest reports. People generally aren't honest because they're always thinking about trying to sell and get as much $ back as possible if they're unhappy.

Because it's not penny pinching OEM? because it's a lot more insulated than OEM? because It's literally quieter than my hardtop which is already quieter than the factory soft top. Can you imagine finding it acceptable to spend 5k to make your off-road convertible more offroad worthy but spending 5k for more open air freedom is crazy? and it's more like 3k after selling my factory hardtop.

When I spoke to (then MyTop), they explained how the top was made. It is more in line with how car soft tops are made, with lares and materials to help lessen the sound and noises. It is a much different top than the OEM softop, and if people are saying it is more quiet than the OEM hardtop, I would say that is a good thing.

I had said it before, it was not for my Armadillo top coming (hopefully this month) I would have ordered this top.

Do you have to manually disengage the rear-side window before 'clicking the button'?? I can't imagine there a good seal there without some type of manual seal, but hope I'm wrong!

No you do not have to manually disengage the rear side windows. And it seals just fine.

I really, really like it. But I'd have to see one in person before spending $5k+ on it. Hopefully I get a chance to see one.

I literally have it on my jeep for the past 4 years. I'm here because I love the bronco's sport bar delete that robs so much of our open air freedom.

Back on subject, I'm very excited Bestop has taken over this product. I felt like MyTop had a great idea but horrendous execution. After really wanting one for over a year, I finally gave up on them.

But I trust Bestop will deliver. And it looks like you guys have improved it. First, it seems to look a little better, IMO. Second, I don't recall it having safari mode before. Maybe it did and I've just blocked it from my memory.

Anyway, I'm excited and will likely order one.

It always had Safari mode but it just wasn't advertised on the myTop site
